The prior theoretical answer the page provided "Wicked the movie will be out on 2012 in the month of June." has obviously been proven farce. The only movie that came out even remotely close around that time was "Oz, The Great And Powerful", however, expectations for Wicked are for 2014, but undecided. To be announced.

singing wickedOf course! You don't need permission to sing Wicked songs. If you mean "Are you allowed to sing Wicked songs in front of an audience?" then yes, you can.As long as no dialogue not from the CD that is included in the musical is used, then you're allowed. (but don't do it for profit.)
The type of music that's featured in the musical 'Wicked' is described as more like a thematic film score. In the musical's traditional score, each song showcases new melodies and motifs. But in the thematic film score, melodies and motifs overlap across songs. This is particularly true of the musical 'Wicked'. One example is the motif that overlaps in and unites 'Dancing Through Life' and 'What Is This Feeling'. Another is Elphaba's theme, which brings together 'As Long As You're Mine' and 'No One Mourns the Wicked'. Still another is the 'Over the Rainbow' influenced 'Unlimited' interlude that links 'Defying Gravity' and 'The Wicked Witch of the East'.
It hasn't ended yet. It's still playing in NYC.
The Book: In the book Wicked written by Gregory Maguire, Elphaba is allergic to water. Since birth she has had a strange aversion to it, and it is revealed she is allergic. She is melted by Dorothy Gale of Kansas, but as it is told, witches never die. "'And there the Wicked Witch stayed for a good long time.' 'Did she ever come out?' 'Not yet.'" (That quote was from the book Wicked, By Gregory Maguire)The Musical: In Wicked: The Musical, Elphaba is not allergic to water. This is proved during the song "I'm Not That Girl," when she sings in the pouring rain. People believe that water will melt her because her soul is so unclean. She goes along with this rumor in order to stage her death in the end of Act II.Note of importance: In both the Wicked the Musical and the book Wicked, Elphaba is the Wicked Witch of the West's name, named after the initials of Lyman Frank Baum, who wrote the Wizard of Oz.
Thirty-one (31) seconds is the time that 16 measures take in the song "What Is This Feeling?" in the musical "Wicked."Specifically, the time may vary depending upon the performance. This guesstimate is made without access to the score. It is based upon hearing the soundtrack of the original Broadway cast.
The musical Wicked! is 2 hrs, 30 min. Intermission is another 15 min.

It depends on the theaters and how much money they make off of the movie

Its really not going to be available for a really long time. Shows usually never release the rights until the show has died down and is out of the spotlight. Wicked still has YEARS before that.

The musical 'Wicked' opened on Broadway on October 20, 2003. The cast and the crew are located in Broadway's George Gershwin Theater. The run on Broadway is considered open-ended at this point.
I think it's basically about how Elphaba and Galinda have become good friends, and how they have changed each others lives through their long journey together, and how they must accept the fact that they are going to have to move on.
