Since it is unopened, it should be fine for a long time and as with most spirits, the alcohol level is enough to kill any bacteria. However, the main problem with alcohol is not bacteria but oxidation. In any case, leaving it unopened will make it keep for years (particularly a whiskey).

Hi, just recently opened a Black and White (blended whisky) that we believe was about 35yrs in the bottle, it was great and very smooth.. Hope this helps

Aslong as the cap is on it, just about forever. Without a cap, the water in it will evaporate faster. Keep it in the freezer though. So its ready to serve when u need it
