This is the 4th year with our tangerine tree and still no fruit. Hopefully this year or next! It started as a tiny baby and is now 3-4 feet tall. Anyone know how to tell when the fruit is about to show up? Does the plant change at all?

The banana is not a tree but a herb. The stem that bears fruit will die out and be replaced by suckers that will bear the next lot of fruit.

if you buy a grafted tree it should be able to bear fruit in 2-3 years. if you grow if from seeds it will take 5-9 year.
Hi, I recently planted 8 lemons and after 4-7 years it bears fruit, although, 2 lemon trees didn't bear fruit, so what I'm trying to say is that if you grow them in loads of light it will bear fruit and it doesn't need that much heat 'cause their min temperature is 0-1 C!
