Once exposed to a vacuum, there would be maybe 10 seconds or so of useful consciousness.
After passing out, it would take a few minutes for vital tissues (brain & heart) to be irreversibly damaged from hypoxia.
It can take 2 hours to put on a space suit.
I could survive in outer space without a space suit, as long as I was inside a space ship, or space station. I cannot breathe vacuum.
no it dosent although peeing in the suit without the proper underwear will damage the suit(that is true somtimes when they go out of the ship for a long time they just wear these paints whitch the can carry human waist
That depends on a number of veriable factors including: What kind of life support system is in place, is Earth resupplying the lunar base with food, water, air and fuel, is it just the one person or are there more people in the base, and what kind of radiation sheilding is the base equiped with.Under ideal conditions, with Earth resupplying the base, one could survive on the moon just as long as someone could survive on earth. Without any support, and without shelter, air, heat, water, food, and medical supplies, (in order of importance) one would only last anywhere from a matter of minutes to a matter of weeks or months.
* You would lose consciousness because there is no oxygen. This could occur in as little as 15 seconds. * Because there is no air pressure to keep your blood and body fluids in a liquid state, the fluids would "boil." Because the "boiling process" would cause them to lose heat energy rapidly, the fluids would freeze before they were evaporated totally (There is a cool display in San Francisco's science museum, The Exploratorium, that demonstrates this principle!). This process could take from 30 seconds to 1 minute. So, it was possible for astronaut David Bowman in "2001: a Space Odyssey" to survive when he ejected from the space pod into the airlock without a space helmet and repressurized the airlock within 30 seconds. * Your tissues (skin, heart, other internal organs) would expand because of the boiling fluids. However, they would not "explode" as depicted in some science fiction movies, such as "Total Recall."("How long can a human survive in outer space") Howstuffworks How long can a human survive in outer space 5 April 2008
until your air runs out or forever
as long as you are wearing a spacesuit
If a human being exposed to open space without spacesuit, due to pressure difference he cannot breathe & within minutes he will die.
Not long
It would depend on the occasion...is it a wedding, a football match or a barbeque?
Of coarse they would, we humans can survive weeks without food as long as there is an intake of water.
You need energy to survive, so you cannot survive without energy.
Not long with oxygen, about two seconds without it.
as long as they can hold their breath
It theory, it is possible. But would you want to? Most people can survive a long time without food, but a much shorter time without water.
Not for very long. People cannot survive for very long without water, anywhere.
You can survive 2-3 days without any liquids
