In Matthew 6: 5-15 Jesus tells Christians how to pray, in saying not to pray like a hypocrite or a pagan for self-promotion or in babbling.
In 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18, the Apostle Paul tells the Christian to:
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
So basically, we are told in the New Testament how to pray and to pray continually. This doesn't translate into a rigid set amount of times per day, as much as being in a continual state of prayer throughout the day, i.e. talking to God, praying for needs, praising Him and offering Thanksgiving through out our day.
That's a hard question to answer. Essentially, all Christians are supposed to pray, but just like all the other religions, some people are more committed to their faith than others. Some Christians pray constantly. Other Christians don't pray as frequently. Do all Christian people pray? I believe so. Do all Christians pray all the time? No.
Christians pray so much that they're busier than a one armed brick layer in Bagdhad.
Christians do not pray as much as they (we) should. Paul tells us to pray constantly. Too many times we only pray when we feel we need something.
Christians can pray anywhere, anytime.
Many, but not all, Christians pray daily.
Christians do not pray to anything that faces Jerusalem.
Christians can pray anywhere because God will always hear us, Christians also pray at church though :)
Anywhere they can!! Jesus recommended private prayer but you can pray as a group in church--Christians can pray anywhere at any time. Their religious buildings are called "churches".Christians can pray anywhere; there is no need for any special place or arrangement. In one of his epistles, the apostle Paul wrote to pray all the time -- what matters to the Christian is that you do pray, not so much where or how you pray.
Christians don't pray to stones.
It's what we were made to do, but don't forget that christians aren't the only faith to pray.
they pray in churches or well anywhere! god and Jesus will be there too:)
Coptic Christians pray to the Christian God, or to Saints to intercede with God on their behalf.
what do you mean? Christians pray for many different reasons; but mainly to talk to God
Only Catholic Christians pray to saints. Protestants Christians do not. We [Protestants] believe they were disciples/apostles of Jesus, but we don't ask the them to pray for us.
