This being said, there are countless composers who use polyphony and therefore, inevitably, implement counterpoint.

Loads and Loads...

Literally thousands ... too many to count as new composers emerge every day of the week and twice on Sundays. One does not have to had compose a 30 minute piece to be called a composer ... the simplest work of several measures, or a single line comprises a composition composed by someone.
