Jesus in Hebrew is Yeshua or Joshua in English so it was probably a very common name back in the day and there were also many fake messiahs at the time which is why a lot of people were skeptical and didn't realize who Jesus Christ was until after he was dead.

There have been many, many Jesuses because Jesus was (and still is in parts of the world ) a very common first name.

However 'Christ' is not his second name. The term 'Christ' comes from the Greek for 'The Messiah', so 'Christ' is his title. Like President Bush, Queen Elizabeth, Archbishop Tutu and so on, 'Christ' is Jesus' title. If you're talking about the Jesus Christ who did miracles and everything, well there has only been one. Because i dont know why you would even call your child Jesus but the people who do, their last name is NOT christ.

As far as when he was on earth, people just called him Jesus. Jesus means Jehovah is Salvation. Jehovah is the Almighty God according to Psalm 83:18 and this is who Jesus prayed to while he was on earth.
