Nobody keeps track of worldwide animal deaths each year. So lets do some estimating.

For humans estimates range as high as 40% of the worlds deaths are attributable to non specific forms of pollution. The problem of arriving at a figure is to determine if pollution is directly, indirectly or marginally related to any specific death. Based on this rate, here is an estimate of the incidence of death among people now living in the world with the equivalent pollution related rates is 56.0 million deaths per year (from all causes) with 14 million/yr from some pollution related causes.

There are more animals from people and so there is a larger number of animal deaths.

animals have to eat the oil and they die from a horrible death so that is why we have to get rid of garbage island

It is estimated that 100,000 sea mammals like dolphins and whales are killed by water pollution. It is impossible to even estimate the numbers of fish that are killed. A single oil spill can account for 500,000 seabirds.

There is no way to determine the number. Many animals are reported to be killed by pollution during chemical and oil spills. Some are killed by oxygen depletion in water with low oxygen saturation caused by the decomposition of organics, others by acid rain. These would be directly responsible to pollution.

Other groups would be impacted by climate change, changes in habitat, and loss of ecosystems. These are indirectly linked to pollution.

That is not a statistic that is kept track of, so anyone attempting to give you a number would only be guessing.

There are over 3.5 million animals that die each year due to pollution. Most of these animals are sea animals which are killed by the toxins in the oceans and seas.
