∙ 13y agoThis list is far longer than you would think, as there were a number of movie serials in the 1940s and 1950s based on superheros (including Batman, Batman and Robin, Superman, Superman vs. Atom Man, Blackhawk, The Adventures of Captain Marvel (generally regarding as the best movie serial ever), Captain America, and Spy Smasher), Superman and the Mole Men (later used as two episodes of TV's The Adventures of Superman), as well as the better known Batman (based on the TV show), Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, Superman 1-4, Howard the Duck, Captain America(made in the 1980s and only released on home video), Spider-Man 1-3, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, X-Men 1-3 and Origins: Wolverine, Iron Man 1 and 2, Spawn, Hellboy and Hellboy: The Golden Army, and The Spirit. And I'm sure there are some I've forgotten...
