if you are constructing 4" thick wall, calculate the length * height that gives answer in square meter.
Per square meter 60 bricks are required, so multiply the answer with 60 no's. And you will get the no's of brick required for the given length * height.
if you are constructing 9" thick wall, instead of 60 bricks for 4" use 120 bricks for 9" wall.
eg:-
lenght = 10 meters
height = 10 meters
No of bricks for 4" wall:- 10*10=100 sqmtr
100*60=6000 no's
if 9" wall:-100*120=12000.
That's how i do, if you know any other method plz do save it here.

To calculate the number of bricks in 1 cubic foot, you need to determine the volume of each brick first. Since the size of the brick is given as 94.53 units, you can calculate its volume (volume = length x width x height) in cubic units. Then, divide the volume of 1 cubic foot (12 x 12 x 12 cubic units) by the volume of each brick to find the number of bricks that can fit in 1 cubic foot.
Practical usage suggests that with appropriate mortar it comes out to be 13.5 bricks in 1 CFT. So in 100 CFT its 1350 bricks. Wastage included.
Your question is incomplete. A cubic yard, foot, meter, what
3.75 cubic feet is bigger than 3.375 cubic feet.
There are 50.265 cubic feet in 1.85 cubic yards.
A yard is 3 feet so 3 feet cubed would be 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard
26 cubic yards = 702 cubic feet
1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet.
standard size of brick is 9in*4.5in*3 in so formula is 1cubicfoot/ brick volume thatwould be 1 cft/ 0.75*0.375*0.25 Cft= 14 bricks
9 x 4.5 x 3 = 121.5 cubic inches 100 cubic feet = 172,800 cubic inches 172,800 ÷ 121.5 = 1,422.22
There is no international standard for brick size so the number of brick would vary according to where it was built. The largest bricks are approximately 2000 cc (2 litres) in volume (depending on the country) most are smaller. There are 28.31 litres in a cubic foot.
As a square foot will require 8 bricks of standard size, we will require around 3500 bricks for 400 sq feet.
You need the dimensions of the bricks.
Assuming it's 4x8 inches, then one brick = 1/3 feet * 2/3 feet, so the area of a brick is 2feet2/9. 120 feet2/(2feet2/9) = 540 bricks
450 bricks
The red clay brick is better than hollow brick for construction of apartments. Because bands should be constructed at every 5-10 feet height if we adopt hollow bricks. Moreover, red clay bricks have higher strength than hollow bricks.

About 14 bricks should do it.

8x10 = 80 sq feet 6 inches for 8 feet = 16 bricks x 10 = 160 3 inches = 4 bricks per foot = 40 bricks for 10 feet x 8 =320 160 + 320 = 480 bricks
