In 2006 the UK government said there were 3 still left alive, I believe there is now only one (but I am not sure).
The last two British veterans from World War 1 have just died (July 2009).
There are currently 1,320 surviving veterans who fought during World War II. World War II was fought from 1939-1945. There are veterans from Germany, the United States, France, the UK, and Australia, the Philippines, and other countries.
None. Florence Green - a British national - is the only surviving veteran of WWI, at the age of 110. The last American veteran of World War I - Frank Woodruff Buckles - died February 27, 2011, also at the age of 110.

According to the British Legion, there are currently around 4.8 million veterans living in the U.K.
