1.I'm pretty sure Michael Morpurgo's book Kaspar Prince of cats is based on a true story and it said Kaspar is the only cat to have survived the sinking of the Titanic and that's what I think.

7 dogs were on the titanic. I am not so sure about others, but there were 7 dogs aboard, and John Jacob Astor IV opened the kennels to let them have a chance to survive. 5 out of 7 lived, including his Airedale, Kitty

There was one known cat with kittens, she was called 'Jenny' and was the ship's cat. However, there is a debate as to if she left the Titanic at Southampton with her kittens or went down with the ship.

A stoker by the name of 'Jim Mulholland' supposedly saw her taking the kittens off and took that as an omen, leaving the ship.

Stewardess 'Violet Jessop', who survived the sinking, wrote about the cat in her memoirs but did not say what happened to her.

There are no confirmed cats aboard the Titanic during the voyage, though there were 12/13 dogs on board in the ship's kennels.

There are accounts of a cat named Jenny more or less belonging to the Titanic (most ships had rats, and thus carried a cat or two to help combat rat problems). However, Jenny gave birth to a litter of kittens, and for one reason or another decided it wasn't safe on the Titanic, and she took her entire litter and they got off the ship before it sailed. I don't believe there is any account of Jenny after that.

There was the ships cat Jenny, 9 dogs, 30 cockerels 4 hens and a yellow canary. 45 animals in all. Only 2 dogs survived out of all of them, sadly.
