How many children can you babysit in your home?

as many as u want as long as u know u can handle it ******** Again this user is offering dangerously incorrect information. Bringing children into your home to babysit DOES have a limit. You cannot operate a daycare service out of your home without licensing and hopefully insurance. ALL state laws require a business license, home and safety inspection, and a background check of anyone to be considered an "employee" or service provider. You can be fined and shut down if you try to bring in "as many as you want". Please refer to any state and local laws that may be in addition to basic business licensing and safety laws which effect every state.
