PLUS: There are millions of tons of cigarette butts on the ground which makes it a global litter problem, even after the smoke has left their cancer prone lungs.
I actually smoked for a number of years and never really got used to it. It was more like I became accustomed to the regular toxic deadly fumes I was drawing into my body; into its most intimate and delicate structures that many times are referred to as the "breath of life", which would be my lungs.
I never got used to it: It was like sucking death, itself, into my body and welcoming its final sentence onto my life. So, if you want to get used to smoking, get used to being dead!

∙ 13y agoI am sure that smoking just one cigarette could lead to becoming addicted. The problem is that after the first one you will think that another won't do any harm. Then, this process continues until you don't even realize you are addicted. So in general, one is all it takes.
