I believe there were at least 5 covenants God made with Israel. The Abrahamic covenant (Gen.12), the Mosaic Law Code (Ex. 20, Gal. 3), the Palestinian Covenant (Deut. 30), the Davidic Covenant ( (2 Samuel 7), and the New Covenant.
Here are two sources which discuss the covenants of the Bible.
See related links below.
God has made a total of six (6) covenants with His people.
Testament means covenant, so there are no covenants in a testament, testament is covenant.

That is a big question! The KJV is a translation of the Bible and should be divided into Old and New Testaments/Covenants. Yet in the Bible (no matter the translation) there are many covenants. God made a covenant with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, King David, and with all of us through the sacrifice of Jesus (Yeshua in hebrew). A covenant means a contract. You can find in the Bible that God states through the author of each book what he expects from us and what consequences can be expected. The Covenant given through Jesus is special. This is because it is based upon the fact that we can't keep to God's standards on our own and require God's grace to forgive us and helps us. That is the contract we make with God by giving our heart (meaning faith and obedience) to Jesus.
