The menstrual cycle of an average woman is a 28-day cycle. It is divided into four major phases.

# Menstruation phase: This is when a woman menstruates or what we usually call bleeding. The first day of menstruation is considered as the first day of the menstrual cycle. It is normally considered as a 7-day phase. In this phase, the endometrium tissue of a woman's uterus breaks down and is removed from the body as menstrual blood.

# Proliferation phase: This phase occurs from day 8 to day 13 of the menstrual cycle. The endometrium prepares itself for implantation and tissue starts building up again. Meanwhile, the egg cell is ready for ovulation by the end of this phase. # Ovulation phase: It occurs on the 14th day of the menstrual cycle. In this phase, the egg is released from the ovary and taken up by the fallopian tube. # Post-ovualation phase: During this phase, if the egg is not fertilised, the ovulation follicle of the ovary gets converted to corpus luteum. During this phase, the hormone levels of oestrogen fall. At the end of the phase, the endometrial tissue starts to break down. So, ovulation occurs roughly 14 days before a period(menstruation).

What are your chances of being pregnant your cycle is 32 days you had your period on Oct 4 had unprotected sex on the 9th 11th and 14th?

If your cycle is always 32 days.. then your ovulation date is around the 18th days. Then it will be on October 22. Generally, there's chances of being pregnant 5-7 days before that date (so Oct 15). But many factors can cause an ovulation before the supposed date. Then, the answer is "the chances are low, but there is chances".

How many days after conception can you know if you are pregnant?

Your fertile period can start several days before ovulation. Peak fertility occurs 24 to 36 hours before ovulation, and is detected by clear (egg-white) cervical fluid that is stretchy. The cervix will be open and soft, and the position of the cervix is high. You can detect ovulation by an increase in your basal body temperature. In many women, ovulation occurs 11 - 16 days before the next period. The sperm need to already be in your body before ovulation. After ovulation is too late because the egg only survives about 24 - 48 hours, and the sperm will not have enough time to reach the egg if they are not present prior to ovulation. It takes several days for a fertilized egg to travel to the uterus.Once in the uterus, it takes several days for the egg to attach. The total time is usually 7 - 10 days after ovulation.Once attached, the fertilized egg releases hormones that let the body know a pregnancy exists. It is these hormones that the pregnancy test is looking for. These hormones also tell the body to not shed the uterine lining. If your period occurs less than 10 days after ovulation, the fertilized egg may not have had enough time to attach and signal a pregnancy to the body. This is known as luteal phase defect. You may have conceived, but the fertilized egg will be flushed out of the body with the uterine lining.According to the ClearBlue pregnancy test accuracy results they are:4 days before expected period= 51% accurate3 days before expected period= 82% accurate2 days before expected period= 90% accurate1 day before expected period =95% accuratethe day of expected period =99% accurateThis should also have been said:This is not a concrete or set in stone guideline. Every female is different, therefore, just because one female received a positive on the day she missed her period, does not mean the next female will, even though she may be pregnant. For some females, they may have all the signs of pregnancy, and know they are, but may not receive a positive on a HPT until they are well into their 9 or 11 week.
