Eid al-Adha, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," is observed for a duration of about three days. It begins on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar, and lasts until the 13th day. The main day of celebration involves communal prayers, feasting, and the ritual sacrifice of animals. Many Muslims also use this time for reflection, charity, and spending time with family.
There are two Islamic Eids :1. Al-Fetr , which comes directly after the month of Ramadan & it's of 3 consecutive days.2. Al-Adha , which comes directly after the pillar of pilgrimage & it's of 4 consecutive days.

Eid-al-Adha is Eid-al-Adha in every language. The name does not change. Just like Christmas is Christmas in French, German, Russian, Spannish and Swedish, in the same way Eid-al-Adha is Eid-al-Adha in every language. It's name does not change at all.
Eid al-Adha is three days long. Muslim children should be excused from school for at least the first day, so that they can attend Salat-al-Eid, the Eid prayer service. Eid al-Adha is three days long. There are two Islamic feasts: Eid al-Adha, the Feast of the Sacrifice, which commemorates the occasion when God ordered Prophet Adam to kill his son, Prophet but then, at the last minute, allowed the substitution of a sheep, instead. Eid al-Fitr, the Feast of Breaking the Fast, at the end of the month-long Islamic fast in Ramadan. Muslims also take note of Ashura, the anniversary of the days when Prophet Moses and his people left Egypt, by fasting. (God bless all of his prophets and grant them peace.)There are two major holy days in Islam: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.Eid al-Fitr occurs during the first day of the 10th month of the Islamic calendar (Shawwal) after the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.Eid al-Adha occurs on the 10th day of the 12th month of the Islamic calendar (Dhul Hijjah).
