Again you will start the same way as the previous two tiers. During this step you will add approximately forty rolled diapers to the initial center banded diaper for this tier.5. With the largest of the three tiers, place your dowel rod in the center of your centered diaper. Be care to put the dowel rod through the diaper in a manner in which it will not tear or ruin the diaper. Do the same for the middle tier and the top tier.6. Place your constructed cake form on the card board cake base. You can wrap ribbon around the rubber bands on each layer of the cake to cover them up. For a fun alternative, you can use a folded receiving blanket or baby towel around the tier before tying the ribbon around the tier.7. With a variety of other baby supplies, travel sized bath supplies, diaper creams, toys, booties and outfits, decorate your cake. You can tuck the items between the diapers or attach with double sided sticky dots. Never attach items with pins, staples or other sharp objects that can get left behind and injure the baby. You can even choose to design your cake in a specific theme if you choose such as Disney, Safari or in a color pattern. What ever you chose, just have fun with this and be creative.
