Valium on its own is not normally fatal, even at such a dosage (LD50 is at least 700mg/kg). However, it can cause coma and an overdose is a medical emergency requiring immediate attention; any interaction particularly with alcohol, opiates and other depressants is easily fatal as well.

Without a doubt. It would kill you. The normal dossage is 0.5mg pr/kg. So if you weigh 70kg, your dossage should be 35mg.

But just to make it clear, 250mg at once WILL kill you.

Can you drink when taking diazepam?

Alcohol will increase the central nervous system depressant effects of diazepam. You will become overly sedated. A small amount of diazepam and alcohol probably wont kill you, let's say 1 glass of beer and 5 mg of diazepam. But drinking alcohol and diazepam is not a wise thing to do and can be dangerous.
