I grew up in Minnesota. In my mind, the two games are completely different (and Grey Duck is a LOT more fun than Goose) and should be able to coexist peacefully. In Duck Duck Goose, the goose is the obvious odd one out. It sounds different, it looks different, it feels different to say. In Duck Duck Grey Duck, a rule is added: every duck has an adjective (eg. blue duck, green duck, spotted duck, orange duck, yellow duck, grey duck). This adds elements of creativity and stealth to the game.
A Duck has many different varieties so it also has many different colours of duck.

Yes, Oregon football does use helmet stickers as part of their tradition. The stickers, often referred to as "Duck stickers," are awarded to players for various achievements, including outstanding performances and contributions on the field. These stickers are typically placed on the players' helmets and add to the team's unique and recognizable look. The practice reflects the program's culture of recognition and motivation.
Besides rubber duckies, some other popular duck characters often featured in costumes are Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and Daisy Duck. Another popular duck costume character (especially for Oregon residents and fans) is that of the Oregon Duck's mascot. The Oregon Duck's mascot wears a green and yellow costume, with a green and yellow beanie cap.
