A pixel is one colored dot. in blk & wht one dot will do, but in color you need three.
picture element
A pixel is the smallest area in a digital image. It does not have a unique size, it depends on the amount of detail specified for that image.
There are three kinds of "dots" in a atom. Electrons, neutrons, protons. Electrons have a negative charge, neutrons have no charge, and protons have a positive charge. The numbers of dots represent what kind of atom it is, as on the periodic table of the elements. The atomic number and mass tells you how many electrons/neutrons/or protons there are.
In digital imaging, a pixel is a single point in a raster image, or the smallest addressable screen element in a display device; it is the smallest unit of picture that can be represented or controlled
the dots are little indicators of amounts of carbon dioxide in the leafs, in other words, it shows oxygen deficiencies

A "pixel" is simply a dot. The computer sends a signal to the monitor, causing a bunch of dots to do their thing and when they all come together it makes an image. As the dots become small enough our eyes can't distinguish the difference between dots and a picture.
A pixel is one of many small dots that are found on a TV screen or computer monitor. These small dots are what make the picture on the screen. The more pixels there are, the clearer the screen.

It is the same. 1 dot is also 1 pixel.
SVG can save with pixel information (at least my Inkscape application saves as .svg and can have a linked or embedded png, bmp, jpg or many other pixel formats).
In general there are 3 sub-pixels with in a pixel made up of red, blue and green. Newer monitors have included a 4th sub pixel adding yellow to the mix.
