On 50mg clomid days 3-7, I made 3 mature follicles and a bunch of small ones that won't mature. We did timed intercourse after a trigger shot, but not sure if it worked yet. We'll see. From what I read, most doctors will cancel the cycle if there are 4 or more follicles because the risk of multiples is too high.
From what I've read, If you are alreay fertile and take clomid it increases your chances of concieving twins and you may even develope super ovulation- which is when your ovaries already release eggs on their own and with drugs like Clomid more than one egg is released instead of one. I also am fertile and one my first round of clomid, only to speed up the process of ttc. Good luck and baby dust.............
Isn't that WHY you are taking Clomid? Women take Clomid to try and get pregnant. According to my conversations with my doctor, you are NOT too old at age 47 to get pregnant. If your eggs are still viable (in good condition) then, you can get pregnant. I hope you were taking Clomid to try and conceive, if not, then why?
Clomid is one of the first treatments usually recommended for women suffering from infertility. Clomid is a well tested treatment that doctors have many years of experience with. It is also a relatively safe and low risk medicine. Clomid is used to treat ovary disorders and malfunctions. It helps the ovaries to perform two functions. It helps to produce eggs. Clomid also helps to produce the hormones needed in the pregnancy process. http://www.conceivingconcepts.com/learning/articles/0020.html
I have been told that you should take at most 6 cycles of clomid, but it is always best to check with your doctor.
I was taking 50mg clomid and on an ultrasound scan I produced 5 eggs. I was advised to abstain from intercourse due to risk of multiples, which I did not and still I failed to conceive
Zero. Kate did not do IVF. There were no eggs transferred. Kate used Clomid and Intrauterine Insemination (they inject semen into her cervix) with both pregnancies. But, when she went to get pregnant with the tups, her ovaries became overstimulated with the Clomid and she had 8 ripe follicles. The Dr refused to inseminate her and hospitalized her. Apparently the Drs orders didnt matter to Kate and she had sex with Jon anyway and she was diagnosed pregnant 5 weeks later.
Two times a day.
if you take clomid once to get pregnant do you have to take it agin
by counting how many times you hump
In addition to diet and exercise, your doctor may prescribe Clomid to stimulate the growth of your eggs and induce ovulation.
You can get Clomid at the South Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine. Clomid will help you get pregnant fast.
