answ2, Mars certainly has solar energy.

Since it has some volcanoes, it has probably got a thermal gradient that could be exploited.

Since it is similar to Earth, it probably has some radioactivity in the core which would give the gradient above.

Yes, you can probably use both.

The main renewable source would be solar power.

The rocks should have chemicals to provide non-renewable sources.

Obviously there should be no fossil fuels like coal and oil.

There's no reason that you could not produce electricity on Mars in any of the

same ways that you could on Earth ... if you could gather up the necessary

equipment and materials. Likewise, there's no reason that you could produce

electricity on Mars in any way that could NOT be used on Earth.

Notes: One method is solar power. It would not be as easy as on Earth, because Mars gets less energy from the Sun.

You could use wind energy, but you wouldn't get much electricity that way.

Of course you could take a nuclear reactor with you, but that's not using Martian sources of energy.

There is the sun's energy (solar power as in),there can be wind terbin's because there are wind storms there for the wind terbin's, and I think there is more but I don't know all of them.

How many sources of energy is not renewable?

Sources of energy which are not renewable are those that use up a substance to create the energy. These include fossil fuel energy (oil, gas and coal) and atomic energy (uranium and thorium).Sources of energy which are renewable are resources such as wood or other plant derived fuels. Generally included in this heading are those energy sources which are inexhaustible such as water power in its many forms, solar power, geothermal energy, and wind energy.
