You must mean Oxygen sensors. There are 2 upsteam (O2 sensors) and there are 2 downstream (catalyst moniters).
There are ( 2 ) exhaust manifolds on your 1997 Ford Taurus V6 engine
In the exhaust pipes attached to the exhaust headers.
The 1992 Ford Taurus has two oxygen (O2) sensors. Both O2 sensors are located upstream of the catalytic converter with one on each exhaust bank.
Costs to fix the exhaust on a 1997 Ford Taurus depends on the location and shop. For a small patch repair costs average less than $100. For a full exhaust system consumers pay between $100-$300.
On a 1997 Ford Taurus : In the power distribution box ( which is " live " ) located in the front of the engine compartment , near the battery ( mini fuse # 28 is a 15 amp fuse for the heated oxygen sensors and canister vent )
were is the shift module on a 1997 Ford Taurus
on the sides of the doors; you'll see a pushout on the innerside of your taurus by the way ford rules right?

There are 2 oxygen sensors on a 2004 Ford Taurus. The oxygen sensors check for the amount of going into the converter.?æ
Under hood, center, lower engine area, front side of engine, mounted in exhaust pipe .Oxygen sensors are always screwed into the exhaust manifold as they sense the amount of oxygen in the exhaust and tell the computer how to mix the air fuel ratio. More or less.
O2 sensors are always located on the exhaust system.O2 sensors are always located on the exhaust system.
as long as you have an the sAME TRANSMISSIONS THEY WILL BE INTGERCHANGABLE.
