That's different for different people. For example, a 2-year-old toddler

and a marine on a march in boot-camp have different-length steps.

But you can be sure that the number of steps on 200 feet is ALWAYS

(200)/(the average length of the person's step, in feet) . If your step happens to be, let's say, 18 inches, then you'd need 134 steps.

That depends, obviously, on who does the steps. Also, the same person can take smaller or larger steps. Anyway, typically an adult will take steps that are a bit less than a meter each.

A step is not a uniform unit of measurement. The two units are therefore incompatible.
