# How many grams are there in a liter?

165166167 ###### 2014-02-07 14:33:36

It depends on the density, and what the liquid is.

One liter of water at 4°C will weigh 1000 grams; this is the temperature at which water is densest. If the liquid is alcohol, which is less dense than water, there will be fewer grams in a liter.
A litre is a measure of volume, grams are a measure of mass. Without further information no conversion is possible.
There's 1000 grams in 1kilogram.
And theres 1000 millilitres in 1litre.

## Related Questions It all depends on what substance is in the liter. If the liter is full of stone, gold, or lead, there are many many grams of mass in it.If the liter is full of water, there are 1,000 grams of mass in it.If the liter is full of air, there are only a few grams of mass in it.If the liter is empty, there are no grams in it at all. 129 (grams per liter) = 129,000,000 micrograms per liter. Since there are about 1000 grams in a liter there are 1800 grams in 1.8 liters. (if we are talking about water) a liter=a kilogram your question would be" how many centiliters (equivalents for grams , in the liquid measuring unit) are in a liter of milk?" answer: 1000 That all depends on what substance fills the liter of space.A liter of air has a small amount of mass in it (very few grams).A liter of water has more mass in it (more grams).A liter of concrete has even more mass in it (lots of grams). An empty liter has no mass in it (no grams). There are 1000 grams in a litre of vinegar 1.3 grams/deciliter, since there is 10 dl in 1 liter! there should be approximately 800 grams in a liter of acai berry juice About 7750 grams to 8050 grams depending on the type. Each liter is 1000 grams, and a glass of water is about 1/4 of a liter, so 250 milliliters would be 250 grams. There are 128.49328626 grams of sugar in 1 liter of Mountain Dew. Zero. Grams are a measurement of weight - liters are a measurement of volume. That is correct but also 1 liter(water) weighs 1000 grams. Well, it depends. One liter of what? If it is water, it is one kg, since for water 1ml = 1g. 1 liter (water) = 1000 grams 1 Liter of water equals 1000g or 1kg Multiply grams per liter by 0.001 to get grams per milliliter. In one liter there are 100,000 hectograms. There are 100 hectograms in one gram, and that is multiplied by the 1,000 grams in a liter. 1.11 grams per liter = 0.00111 kilograms per liter
