Both Pit Bulls and German Shepherds are high energy breeds so your mix will probably require atleast 1 hours good exercise daily. Try buying a nylon harness and allowing your dog to run and pull you on a bicycle. Dogs love this and it improves their strength and stamina (it is also a lot less tiring for you).
