The following times require very brief stop for gasoline and comfort breaks.

It takes about 18½ to 21 hours depending on traffic (especially through in Atlanta) and the route taken. (Where exactly in the Cincinnati area to where exactly in the Miami area)

Toll Roads

  • The shortest route is 1120 miles or so taking I 75 to the Florida Turnpike to Miami. This route would take about 18½ hours given very brief stops for gas and comfort and favorable traffic in Atlanta. WARNING The Florida Turnpike would cost about $17.20 in tolls for a car.
  • Taking I 75 all the way into Miami adds about 60 miles to the trip and there is still a $2.50 toll for a car (Alligator Alley) from Fort Myers to Miami. This route would take about 19½ Hours

No Toll Roads

  • Taking I 75 to I 10 East to I 95 at Jacksonville is about 1160 miles and would take about 19 hours given very brief stops for gas and comfort and favorable traffic in Atlanta
  • I 75 to I 16 to GA Rt 19 to US RT 23 to I-95. This is about 1130 miles, no tolls, but your route would take you over surface streets and through towns. Travel time could be anywhere from 19½-20 hours.
    • If you remain on I 16 to I 95 that would make the trip about 1180 miles, but travel time would be about 19 to 19½hours.
  • Another Interstate route that avoids tolls would take about 19 hours as well is via I 75 south to I 40 East to I 26 East (actually heads south) to I 95 South. This route is about 1150 miles long but has a segment of highway with 50 MPH and very tight winding road through the Smokey mountains.
