The UK does not have ZIP codes. It has postal codes. There are many thousands of them, some refer to only 3 or 4 houses.

Even before you get to the "plus 4" part, Kansas has a couple thousand 5-digit ZIP Codes, each of which could have as many as 10,000 ZIP+4 codes. You will have to be wayyyy more specific in your question.
There are no ten digit zip codes. Maryland has many five digit zip codes and many many more nine digit zip+4 codes. There can be a unique nine digit zip+4 code for every mailbox in a post office building and for at least every block in a town or city!
There are potentially one billion ZIP+4 codes, but only a small fraction of those are actually in use. Still, there are millions of them, since each ZIP+4 covers at most one side of one block of one street.
