Most all houses use some. Nuclear is about 19 percent of total supply.

Peanuts are not fissile materials and cannot be used to generate nuclear energy. If they could, however, be transmuted into energy, using Einstein's mass-energy equivalence formula e=mc2, and assuming a mass of one gram per peanut, you could create 1x1013 joules. That would power a typical home using 1000 KWH per month for about 230 years, or 230 houses for about one year. Keep in mind that not even nuclear reactors fully transmute the energy in the core - they transmute less than 1% before they need to be refueled - so this is just a theoretical number that really has no meaning, except to show the energy present in everything that is.
Lots of energy to power cities for YEARS
Yes; the average nuclear power plant yields about 3 tons of radioactive waste each year.
one year of energy can supply 6 million houses

Without uranium and nuclear energy the exhaustion of fossil fuels will be more important year after year. Also nuclear energy don't contribute to global warming.
I think this has many of the best brains in government service in many countries puzzled! Iran has plenty of oil, so should not need nuclear. We may find out in another year or two.
Approx. 30 000 t/year.

You can't say exactly how many houses there are in Seattle because Seattle is a big city and there are many more houses built each year. If you want to know, I would recommend you find the number of houses in a certain year.
About 13.7 billion years ago, during the big bang.
