The magnets were around in the pets for a while however when the first ds game called for the eyes to change the magnets disappeared as well. The last littlest pet shop pet with a magnet (and circles pupils) was cat 456. However 24 numbers were randomly skipped for no reason. If you subtract the missing pets from the 456 that means about 432 not including anything numberless! However that's nothing compared to how many LPS pets there are in TOTAL.

Is PET imaging a nuclear radiation?

PET imaging uses a small amount of radioactive material called radiotracers to create detailed images of organs and tissues. The radiotracers emit positron particles, which can be detected by a PET scanner. While PET imaging does involve exposure to ionizing radiation, the amount used is considered safe and carries minimal risk.

What work does PDSA do?

PDSA is a UK animal welfare charity that provides veterinary care for sick and injured pets of people in need. They also offer pet insurance, operate pet hospitals and clinics, and provide education and outreach programs to promote responsible pet ownership.

Antimatter practical use for pet scans?

In PET scans, antimatter (positrons) is used in the form of a radiopharmaceutical to create images of metabolic activity in the body. When the radiopharmaceutical is injected into the body, the positrons emitted from it annihilate with electrons in the body, producing gamma rays. These gamma rays are detected by the PET scanner to create detailed images of organs and tissues.

What specific date was the PET scan invented?

The PET scan (Positron Emission Tomography) was invented in the early 1970s, with the first full-body PET scanner being developed in 1973 by David E. Kuhl and Roy Edwards.

What is role of UV transmittance in MEG and how it affects the quality of PET?

UV transmittance in MEG (monoethylene glycol) is important to maintain the desired catalyst activity in the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) polymerization process. UV light can degrade the catalyst used in PET production, leading to lower product quality and potential production issues. Ensuring low UV transmittance in MEG helps to protect the catalyst and maintain the quality of PET produced.
