There have been 9 manned missions to the moon. The 24 men who traveled there are: Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin; Bill Anders; Neil Armstrong; Alan Bean; Frank Borman; Eugene Cernan; Michael Collins; Charles "Pete" Conrad, Jr.; Charles Duke, Jr.; Ronald Evans; Richard Gordon, Jr.; Fred Haise; James Irwin; James Lovell; T. Kenneth Mattingly; Edgar Mitchell; Stuart Roosa; Harrison "Jack" Schmitt; David Scott; Alan Shepard; Thomas Stafford; John "Jack" Swigert; Alfred Worden; John Young. Of course, only 12 of them have landed on it.
The number of men that have been on the moon is 12 from the 6 Apollo human landings which were between July 1969 and December 1972. There were 2 from each landing, 3 have now died so there are 9 moon walkers still alive.
Nine astronauts looped around the moon without landing, on Apollo 8 (the Christmas Eve 1968 mission), Apollo 10 (dress rehearsal for the real moon landing), and Apollo 13 (had a failure on the way to the moon, looped around, and returned to earth). There were three astronauts on each of those missions.
24 NASA astronauts have travelled to the Moon, but only 12 walked on the lunar surface.
During 6 lunar landing operations, 12 astronauts walked on the Moon :
Those who have orbited the Moon :
*later walked on the Moon, as above.
(see related question)
A total of 12 men have set foot on the moon - two astronauts each from Apollo missions 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17. Another 12 men have orbited the moon but not landed on it - all three astronauts from each of Apollo missions 8, 10, and 13 (none of which sent anyone to the surface), and the third astronaut from each of Apollo missions 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 (in each of these, two astronauts went to the surface in the lunar module while one stayed behind in orbit in the command module). The number who orbited but did not land is only 12 instead of 15 because one astronaut orbited the moon twice (Lovell in Apollo missions 8 and 13), while two astonauts orbited the moon once and landed on it once (Young and Cernan both orbited in Apollo 10; Young landed in Apollo 16 and Cernan landed in Apollo 17). Apollo 8 and 10 were practice runs for Apollo 11, the first to land on the moon. Apollo 8 simply orbited the moon without a lunar lander, as a test of communications and maneuvering. Apollo 10 was a dress rehearsal for Apollo 11 - two astronauts entered the lunar module, separated from the command module and descended toward the surface of the moon, but did not land on it. They then returned to the command module for the trip home. Apollo 13 was intended to land on the moon, but suffered a catastrophic equipment failure and was forced to return to Earth after swinging around the moon once.
A total of 24 men have been to the moon. They are:
Apollo 8 - Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, Bill Anders
Apollo 10 - Tom Stafford, Gene Cernan, John Young
Apollo 11 - Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins
Apollo 12 - Charles Conrad, Alan Bean, Richard Gordon
Apollo 13 - Lovell (2), Fred Haise, Jack Swigert
Apollo 14 - Alan Shepard, Edgar Mitchell, Stuart Roosa
Apollo 15 - Dave Scott, Jim Irwin, Al Worden
Apollo 16 - Young (2), Charlie Duke, Ken Mattingly
Apollo 17 - Cernan (2), Harrison Schmitt, Ron Evans
Twelve men walked on the moon; two each on the missions Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17.
12 men between 1969 and 1972.
12 people have gone to the moon. They are Harrison Schmitt, Eugene Cernan, Charles Duke, John Young, James Irwin, David Scott, Edgar Mitchell, Alan shepard, Alan Bean, Pete Conrad, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong. I hope my answer is helpful to you.
None. Only humans have landed on the moon. There have been dogs and monkeys and other animals sent into space, but to my knowledge no animals have ever landed on the moon.
12
Only 12 Americans have ever been on the moon between 1969 and 1972.............That it!
All 24 of the humans who have walked on the moon have been white male US citizens.
If you mean which planets that Humans have set foot on then Earth is the only one. We have went to the moon, but it does not count as a planet. Human made space craft have been to every planet in the Solar System. We have on en route to Pluto right now.
12 humans, maybe some germs.
None, No Human has ever been past the moon.
No Apart from NASA astronauts no humans have been on the moon.
No they have not but humans have.
They didn't. The farthest humans have been from Earth is the moon. Uranus is many times farther away. Uranus has been visited by unmanned space probes.
No. Humans have been to the moon, but we didn't send any animals.
None. Only humans have landed on the moon. There have been dogs and monkeys and other animals sent into space, but to my knowledge no animals have ever landed on the moon.

None. No person has been farther than the moon. Venus is much too hot for humans to explore.
No. The moon has been around since long before humans existed.
No. So far there have been six manned missions to the moon the last of which was in 1972.
