If we assume that each ship was the same size, then according to Homer...50. But Achilles isn't a king. I think it may be safe to assume that all ships were not built the same ( depending on location, timber available) and that Agamemnon, and other kings (Odysseus - maybe Menelaus) may be able to afford "larger" ships?
