These are to differenet medications and cannot really be equalled out in milligrams. 2 milligrams of dilaudid is eaual to 16 milligrams of Moorphine, 5 milligrams of dilaudid is equal to the strength of 40 milligrams of Morphine. VERY stong medication, and much stronger then percocet.
Taken orally, about 5.5mg hydromorphone = 30mg of oxycodone (the comparable narcotic in 3 Percocet 10s). But hydromorphone is also available intravenously and is 5x as potent as the pill form. So roughly 1mg IV hydromorphone would equal 30mg oxycodone.
2mg dilaudid equals 10 of oxycodone. percocet has both oxycodone and acetaminophen in it, and you can't really do any conversion to account for the acetaminophen.
You can, but............... when I tried it, I felt crappy. Stick to one. Mixing meds is not good. There are always side effects. It may not be right away, but it will happen.
None, and don't take over 1000 mgs of Tylenol you can hurt yourself.
When one takes Percocet anally, the effects of the drug will be intensified. It is suggested that Percocet be taken orally and only if you have the prescription for it.
Depending on one's metabolism, 3-5 days.
Take one when you're not really in pain. Percocet is one of the most addictive painkillers around.
Call your doctor. We cannot tell you to take any medications or how many or in what dose.
Yes, there is a green percocet.... most common is a small, round, green pill with the imprint of A 214 on one side of the pill and nothing imprinted on the other.... This is a 15mg percocet
Percocet, being an inanimate object, possesses no inherent qualities of good or bad.
Opana is a sustained-release form of hydromorphone, which is a more powerful adjunct of morphine. Because Opana is in a time-release formulation, ostensibly you can't abuse it the way you can with other forms of hydromorphone, most notably dilaudid. It is VERY important that you understand hydromorphone is, again, MANY times stronger than morphine, which itself is many times stronger than street heroin. Also, there is no other active ingredient other than the narcotic itself in Opana. This is unlike Percocet, which in addition to the narcotic Oxycodone, also contains acetaminohpen. Oxycodone, while a strong narcotic for most people, is still not nearly as strong as hydromorphone. This is NOT to say that one can get away with being careless with Percocet, because you certainly cannot. However, I outline the difference between the two narcotics because, even though there are serious risks in abusing either medication, abusing any form of hydromorphone does, in my opinion, carry an even greater risk than that posed by abusing Percocet. But keep in mind, abusing either drug is a very dangerous proposition, indeed. THIS ANSWER IS FOR THE MOST PART CORRECT, BUT--- OPANA's generic name is: oxymorphone HCL also know as NUMORPHAN. hydromorphone is commonly brand name DILAUDID. And yes Percocet/Percodan is: oxycodone...... Just to clarify.... Thank you.....
180mg is kinda pushin' it, is right on the border of overdose for someone that has a high tolerance.
