I have a 1995 T100 with the 4-cyl., 2.7 engine and 5-speed manualtransmission. When driven locally, the truck averages 20-21 MPG when not using the air conditioner. Running the air conditioning reduces fuel economy by 1 to1.5 MPG. On trips, the truck averages 24-25 MPG, with 26-MPG being the best ever obtained. The truck currently has 211,000 miles on the odometer and uses oil at the rate of about one-quart every 5000 miles (if it were allowed to go that long).
how do you set camshaft on a 1995 Toyota t-100
Toyota vehicles are extremely dependable, and have very long lives. My Toyota T-100 pickup, for instance, has 140,000 miles on the odometer, but it behaves like it is just getting broken in. Many Toyota drivers have many hundreds of thousands of miles on their vehicles.
