Any engine will last several hundred thousand miles given proper care (tune ups, oil changes, etc).
I have a goped gsr40 all modded out with a bigger engine 49 cc and I want to know how many miles these engines usually last
150,000 miles on average with regular recommended maintenance.
Mine made it just over 80,000 when the engine blew
It depends on the engine and how well you take care of it. Some can last up to 200,000 or more if they are cared for.
This is just my own experience, but the 2001 Infiniti QX4 that I am currently driving is going pretty strong at over 235,000 miles. As you probably have guessed, many of those miles are highway, but that kind of endurance is nothing to sneeze at.
If all maintenance is performed on this engine according to the owners manual then you can expect this engine to last at least 200,000 miles or more. That is assuming the engine is not abused and is driven normally.
The "Dodge" diesel is actually a Cummins heavy truck engine. With proper maintenance, it should last about 250,000 miles. The injectors will need replacing every 100,000 miles. I would say 500,000 is average for the engine. I do not agree about the injectors. The truck will wear out before the engine does.
450,000 miles on the original engine.
2.456 miles
