If it's full of water, it has about 1,000,000,000 nanograms of mass in it.

If the ml is full of gold, then there are about 19,000,000,000 nanograms of mass in it.

Nano means 1/1,000,000,000 and milli means 1/1000. Therefore 1,000,000,000/1000 is 1,000,000 or a million nanolitres in a millilitre
