The average turkey sandwich may have about two oz. of turkey (8 servings per lb.). However, some might consider that excessive, others might consider that skimpy, everyone has their own preferences. A lot is dependent on how hungry the person is, what else you are putting on the sandwich (lettuce, tomato, etc.), how thick the bread or roll, and perhaps, your budget per sandwich. When it comes to fresh roasted turkey, there's no such thing as too much turkey on the sandwich.
