From what I have come to understand there are four o2 sensors, two on each side of the vehicle running from the exhaust manifolds. Each side has one o2 sensor before and one o2 sensor after the catalytic converter, therefore two o2 sensors on each side for a grand total of four. They are titled as such:
Left side 1:1 refers to the o2 sensor above the catalytic converter also known
as the upstream sensor.
1:2 refers to the o2 sensor below the catalytic converter aslo known
as the downstream sensor
Right side 2:2 refers to the o2 sensor above the catalytic converter also known
as the upstream sensor.
2:2 refers to the o2 sensor below the catalytic converter aslo known
as the downstream sensor
The 5.2L has two oxygen sensors.
2 sensors
2
THERE ARE 2
Two.
It has four.It has four.
It has two.
Two sensors, and replace them.
2, Before & after the catalytic converter.
2. one before the catalytic converter and one after.
1995-1999 3.9L, 5.2L, and 5.9L Dodge Ram 1500 has two O2 sensors. One upstream (before cat) and one downstream (after cat).
It has four oxygen sensors.
