The problem with that question is that we don't know what actually causes arthritis. It is understood that some people tend to have a weakness in that direction and there is also a genetic factor involved at times. The evidence however points not so much at what a person does to their joints, because some people get trouble with arthritis and some don't, even doing the same thing. It would seem that the weakness has to be there to form the problem in the first place and you cant tell until it becomes a problem.
