How many people have never ever broken the law?

In life, there are many types of data that simply do not exist. "Never" types of data do not exist. In some instances, data can be estimated if a statistic cannot be made. But most "never" data cannot be estimated very easily either.

For "how many people never broke the law", some factors that affect this kind of "estimate" would be:

1. Was the person caught
2. Did the prosecutor choose to prosecute (some cases are dropped)
3. Did the Magistrate, Judge, Special Jury, Inquisition, or other body choose to indict the person
4. Did the person die before his infraction or crime was discovered?
5. Did a witness mis-identify the perpetrator? Was the wrong person charged and/or convicted?

However, on some types of "never" data, we can simply use "Common Sense". If you have done the following, as most people have, you have broken the law:

• jaywalked, crossing a street outside of a designated cross-walk
• spat on the street
• littered
• had an argument in public -- i.e. disturbing the peace
• pushed anyone, even in play and even if no injury was done
• shoplifted, even a low-cost item
• kept something valuable you found
• had a pushing match with your boyfriend/girlfriend -- domestic abuse, assault
• did a prank call, at any age, to anyone
• sent a nude or half nude picture when you are underage
• taken a nude or undressed picture of a child
• lots more I can't think of tonight
