How many pounds of meat it will take to feed 9 people will depend on what else is being served. If you are having a lot of other dishes 1/2 pound per person should be fine. If you are not having many other dishes 3/4 pounds per person is a good amount.

Usually 4 to 6 ounces of meat per person, depending on what else is served with the Ham. There are many variables such as , is Ham the only protein served? How many other side dishes are served with the Ham? Etc.

Pork shrinks a lot due to fat content, but the loin has lesser fat . I figure 4-5 ozs. per person, so that would feed approximately 25 persons allowing for shrinkage while cooking
