There are usually two to three doctors on a shift in an average sized emergency room. The other members of the trauma and triage teams include interns, nurses, physician assistants (PA's) and a charge nurse. Specialists from other departments can be called in if there is a need for them; most of the time these are surgeons, pediatric residents and orthopedics.

Well first it depends on the size of the Hospital but over all Hundreds would work there because otherwise the patience would get seriously ill.
