Expandable memory cards can range in size from as small as 16MB, all the way up to 4GB (4 Gigabytes or 4,000,000,000 bytes / 4 billion bytes), and range in price from $20-$200. The chart below will give you a basic outline of how much memory a digital image will take up on different size cards, and with various output resolutions. Please remember these are approximate numbers of images; results with your camera may vary.
Resolution / Mega Pixels
Capacity 3.0 MP 5.0 MP 8.0 MP 10 MP 12 MP
16MB 10 9 5 2 2
32MB 25 17 10 5 4
128MB 150 120 80 55 32
256MB 300 240 160 110 71
512MB 600 480 320 225 121
1GB 1200 950 600 400 260
2GB 2400 1900 1200 800 500
4GB* 4000 3000 2000 1500 1000
It depends how big pictures your camera takes - how many megapixels it has and what type of files it writes. More megapixels -> bigger files -> less pictures on a memory card. RAW files are few times bigger than JPG files.

A lot ! As an example - My Fujifilm Finepix S2750 cam - at 12 Megapixels, will take 680 shots at max resolution to fill a 2GB card !

Depends on the amount of megapixels, if 4MP then then 22888. If 22MP then 4161, photos compressed. If uncompressed 4MP is 2288 and 22MP is 416. Then there is all the MP's in between

Wallgreens has a nice table that breaks down the number of pictures per card size at different camera resolutions. 1GB 2GB 4GB 4 Megapixels 880 1760 3520 5 Megapixels 708 1416 2832 6 Megapixels 580 1160 2320 7 Megapixels 536 1072 2144 8 Megapixels 446 892 1884 10 Megapixels 376 752 1504 http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=301607&navAction=jump&navCount=0&skuid=sku3931499&id=prod3932650
It depends on the quality of the photographs and the megapixels of the camera. Without this information all we can do is hazard an inaccurate guess. On average one picture is 1mb. Unless the megapixels of your camera is higher quality. If each image was 1mb, you can store around 70 images on a 70mb memory card.

It depends on the image size and the memory card size. This can range from 50 to several thousand.
