1 was aimed for the pentagon and succeeded but with less losses than the twin towers
And 1 final plane was aimed to hit the White House supposedly however shortly after the hijackers took the plane the passengers fought back, Retook the plane and forced it to crash sacrificing themselves.
These attacks were orchestrated by Al-qaeda an islamist terrorist group.
