Cheetah's are not a poacher's main animal of choice to kill as they have nothing of particular value in comparison to rhino and elephant ivory. Farmers however are beginning to increasingly kill cheetah's as game farming becomes ever more popular, farmers will catch and kill cheetah's on sight if they believe their stock to be in danger. A cheetah will kill up to 2 or 3 sable's a week which are worth £10,000+
