A potato can power a clock because all fruits and vegetables have an electric current in them, so the potato's act like a battery and supply the clock with electricity.
A lemon.
Even if a multi gas detector claims it can run on batteries, they should only be used as an emergency power source. An alarm clock can also run on batteries, but it'll drain them within a matter of days if the alarm clock isn't plugged into an AC outlet. Multi gas detectors are the same. While many models can run on a couple of 9V batteries, don't expect them to last more than 48 hours on a single pair of batteries. However, that doesn't mean batteries are useless. Keep batteries plugged in just in case the power goes off, but don't rely on them.
yes
As one of the constituents in common batteries.
a banana can power a clock for a pretty long time, just like a potato can control the universe
Electrical Energy to power the sound.
Yes you can
No. Any wireless system that is not connected to a power outlet will require batteries.
A potato clock is a science fair project because it uses a electricity to power the clock. One of the things in sciencce is finding how the electricity and the potato chemicals stuff, things powers the clock. It gets pretty complicated. Theres TONS of reasons how its a science project.
because it wants toanswerBecause the power went out temporarily, and when it came back on, the clock turned on to its "default" time of 12:00 am.whats an alarm clock?
so in case the power goes out, it wont reset to flashing 12:00, the battery keeps the clock "alive" so it can remember the time when the power comes back on.....very useful when you set an alarm and need to be up at a certain time
