There is roughly 160 pounds in 20 gallons. Pounds is a unit of mass/weight. Gallons is a liquid measure. They do not convert cleanly. The density of the liquid being measured can make a big difference. If the liquid is water, there is 8 pounds to a gallon.

A gallon is a unit of volume, a pound is a unit of weight, the two can not be equated.

However you can say what would be the volume of 20 lbs of water and the answer would be different from that for 20 lbs of lead......this is where the density of a substancematters.

A gallon of what?.....if you're thinking in terms of water...... a gallon is approxiimately

8.5lbs. and will vary somewhat depending on atmospheric pressure and what the sea level is where you are located.
