Drain the oil and change the filter. Add 4 quarts of the correct weight oil and start the engine. Let run for 30 seconds and shut off the engine. Wait 30 minutes and check the oil level. Add as necessary to reach the full mark. You now know the engine oil capacity. Do not Overfill.
