The specification is 4.5 quarts. If you are going to change your oil AND the filter, I always get 5 quarts. I will put 4.5 quarts, start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes, and then double check your level & top it off - a little at a time - with the last quart until the level is right up to the full line on the dip stick.
